Small Businesses are an integral part of the Chamber and the Northern Kentucky economy. The foundation of the Northern Kentucky Chamber’s membership is built on small and entrepreneurial businesses as approximately 85 percent of our member companies employ fewer than 50 people. The Chamber works to provide resources and programs in support of small business growth from start-up stage to company maturity. Programs and services include:
Business Mentorship and Assistance
Support for start-up businesses and existing comanies is available at the Chamber through a partnership with the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). Come to the Chamber to learn from experienced mentors how to start grow a business in your specific industry. To book an appointment with a counselor please contact Daniele S. Longo at dlongo@nkychamber.com.
SCORE Seminars at the Chamber
The seminars focus on helping small business owners and entrepreneurs to learn the basics of setting up and running a business, and to solve daily business challenges. These monthly seminars are presented by SCORE counselors who have “been there” as successful business owners and executives. After the sessions the counselors are available to set up free one-on one mentoring sessions for participants who want further assistance. SCORE Seminars at the Chamber occur on the last Tuesday of each month, 8:00-Noon.
