(Richwood, Kentucky) – Health and beauty products manufacturer L’Oreal is considering the establishment of a new distribution center here. The state of Kentucky recently gave preliminary approval to more than $868,000 in tax incentives toward the project, which is expected to create nearly 70 jobs.
According to filings, the 678,000 square foot distribution center would cost more than $23.5 million to start, including more than $1.3 million in new equipment. It was unclear how soon as decision would be made about whether L’Oreal will go forward with the project.
